Westside International Soccer has been a part of the Buffalo Public Schools Saturday Academy Community Program Initiative since it was launched in 2016. 

 

As part of the academy programs, WSIS runs indoor soccer sessions for pre-teen and teenage children bi-weekly on Saturday mornings throughout the school year (excluding holidays and school breaks). 

Additionally, players are taught an engaging, off-field, soccer-based curriculum tailored to their interests.  Subjects covered include soccer fundamentals, game play and tactics, soccer history, women and girls in soccer, best teamwork strategies, and more.  Players and coaches then participate in an open dialog group discussion where all are encouraged to contribute and ask questions.  

 

Free breakfast and lunch is provided by Buffalo Public Schools.
